EMLUX – Executive Master in Luxury Goods Management is a program organized by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan in collaboration with firms and organizations within the luxury industry.

Its part-time structure and schedule during weekends is designed to meet the needs of professionals already working who are interested in developing or enhancing the skills and abilities linked specifically to the management of luxury goods and to develop the understanding of the dynamics and of the peculiarities of this market.

It has been developed considering the needs of professionals who intend to shift from their market to the luxury market or for those already employed in firms in the luxury industry who intend to boost their careers through a master’s degree.

The program is also intended for young talents wishing to develop their career within the luxury industry, who may choose to integrate the program with an internship within a luxury firm.

In order to submit the application into the Master's program, candidates must have completed a three-year university degree and have good command of the English language.

This program is especially designed to develop diverse skills related to the particular operational, financial, marketing and product issues that impact strategic and business decisions in the luxury industry and participants will be prepared for filling specific professional roles such as:

  • marketing or brand manager;
  • product manager;
  • licensing manager;
  • retail manager;
  • communication manager;
  • area manager;
  • supply chain manager.

The master’s degree is directed by Roberta Crespi Professor of Business Economics And Management at Università Cattolica.

EMLUX is entirely taught in English by a conjoint faculty of academics and professionals of the luxury industry. The teaching method is based upon lessons, case analysis, completed by group work sessions and a project work or internship coached by partner firms of the luxury industry.
